She was instrumental to the “A Future. Not A Past.” awareness campaign in South Florida with the goal of bringing justice to 300,000 young children who are victims of child trafficking. In addition, Yanyn designed the first “Hispanic Women’s Conference” in partnership with Nordstrom and the National Hispana Leadership Institute aligning the goals of two disparate organizations with mutual interest of engaging women and their knowledge of investment and professional appearance. She served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Chapter of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, and continues to coach and mentor students throughout Miami Dade County. Yanyn currently serves as an advisory council member for Ruth’s List Florida, and a board member for the American Marketing Association—South Florida Chapter.
She graduated from FIU with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Women’s Studies and an MBA with a specialty in Strategic Negotiations. Yanyn is trained in dining etiquette, and in Memorable Customer Service by the Ritz Carlton Leadership Center.
